The Harriman Institute/East Central European Center attempts to provide a listing of all courses sponsored by various University Departments and Schools for the Fall 2009 semester to aid students in choosing courses that fulfill the requirements for the Harriman Institute/East Central European Center Certificate, the SIPA regional concentration, and the Master of Arts in Regional Studies‚Russia Eurasia & Eastern Europe (MARS-REERS). While we try to capture all courses that fall within this category, some courses are posted after this course listing has been printed. If you find a course that you would like to take that seems to meet the general requirements but is not in this bulletin, please contact Lydia Hamilton at lch2111@columbia.edu or John Micgiel at jsm6@columbia.edu.

Room assignments and class schedules are subject to change. Please consult the Columbia Directory of Classes at www.columbia.edu/cu/bulletin/uwb for final confirmation. For courses with missing data, please consult the appropriate Department. You may also check the Slavic Department website for their courselist.
